The purpose of this site is to provide important information to successful bidders and/or contractors through the Electrical Power Systems Construction Association (EPSCA) process and to facilitate access to collective agreements and wage plans. All questions regarding the following information should be directed to Hydro One`s Personnel Acquisition Department. Tenders for a Hydro One Tender or Request for TenderThe EPSCA process begins when Hydro One`s Request for Labour Requirements Form division receives a Request for Labour Requirements Form from the project manager. The place and nature of the work, as well as the monetary value, the hours of field work and the trades to be used, are taken into account when establishing the work. There are two possible provisions regarding work requirements: the strike was called due to the refusal of Hydro One and its contractors to obtain a five-year pay slip obtained yesterday with the EPSCA production group and its contractors. Today, this gap has been filled and liuna collective agreements maintain the long-standing practice of pay equity between the production and transmission sectors. Both production contracts and assignment contracts run until 2015. In addition to these agreements, Hydro One has collective agreements directly with the following construction unions (BTUs): in addition to EPSCA, OPG has entered into collective agreements directly with two construction unions (BTUs) that require contractors to comply with working conditions at OPG sites. They are the Canadian Union of Professional Workers (CUSW) and the Brick and Allied Craft Union (BACU). The declaration and finding form describes the collective agreements and wage plans applicable in the field where the work is performed.
Regarding the daily allowance for travel/room and meals when tendering contracts, remember that all EPSCA / CUSW / LIUNA OPDC contracts are FIRM BID. This means that Hydro One does not reimburse any remuneration for daily travel, stays or travel and transportation, as stated in the corresponding articles of an EPSCA/CUSW/LIUNA OPDC agreement. However, it remains the responsibility of the contractor to pay its staff the appropriate travel grant/board of directors, as provided for in the various collective agreements. The execution of works under EPSCA contracts EPSCA collective agreements and salary plans included in tender packages must be used as a guideline and may change after the tender documents have been issued. EPSCA`s current collective agreements and compensation plans are www.EPSCA.org. OPG also has a collective agreement with the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers. Learn about work requirements regarding wages and collective agreements for OPG suppliers and partners. Contractors are required to comply with the terms of these agreements when working at Hydro One sites. See current collective agreements and wage plans for CUSW and BACU. . .
